The Trek
Siddha Parvat Hike
Goa Adventures welcomes nature loving people to participate in a day trip activity to South of Goa in Sanguem district.

The Event
Activity involves hiking towards the top of Siddha Parvat (hill) in Sanguem district. Rest at the top around the ruins of an ancient temple. Flanked on the left side are the infinitely green carpets of rolling hills of the Western Ghats and on the right enjoy an Eagles view of the reservoir of Sanguem Dam.

The Attractions
On the return, we visit by bus to the Selaulim Dam which is situated amidst scenic surroundings. Once here you have the option to explore the dam, relax within the Botanical Garden, visit the Transplanted Temple, yes a Shiva temple transported brick by brick and transplanted from the submerged dam area or have hot tea n snacks at the tourist rest house.

The Cost
Rs.200/- per participant. Includes transportation to and from Panjim by Bus or any other suitable vehicle. Also includes entry charges to the dam. For joining this event, one can phone Mr. Deepak on 9850472932 and he will personally come and collect the participation fee or one can visit our Margao office to confirm of their participation.

The Organizers
This day trip hiking event is being organized and promoted by www.goaadventures.com nature based website of Mr. Deepak. This event is a not for profit initiative taken by Mr. Deepak on the request of hiking & trekking friends who are longing for some outdoor nature related activity.

The Number of Participants
This will be strictly limited to a maximum of 20 persons. Reservations will be on first come first serve basis. Seat will be considered confirmed only on payment of Rs.200/- cash in due advance.

The Surprises
Welcome Herbal Drink & Home Made Snack. We are trying to Rope in the (FRO) Forest Range Officer who has 22 years of dedicated service around the forests of Sanguem to enlighten us with some knowledge.

The Participants have to carry
Each participant is supposed to carry his personal food and snacks as per taste. Suggested to carry Vegetarian food as our peak rest will be around a Hindu temple. Two Bottles of Water. Please wear appropriate sports shoes for comfortable walking & climbing.

The Time of the Event
Departure of the Bus sharply at 08.00 am in the morning at Panjim, near Heera Petrol Pump and 09.00 am approximately at Mabai Hotel at Margao.
